The Crisplant S-2000 Double-Tray combines the latest technology, high availability and exceptional flexibility in a sorting system designed for customers who require extremely high capacity. It is one in a series of automatic, high-speed sorting systems developed, manufactured and marketed by Crisplant, the world's largest manufacturer of sorting systems of this kind.

Developed according to the principles used for the S-2000 Tilt-Tray sorting system, the S-2000 Double-Tray has two trays on each cart instead of one. The trays tilt to their respective sides. This gives the S-2000 Double-Tray an exceptionally high capacity while occupying a minimum of space.

Carrying two items per cart, the S-2000 Double-Tray can handle twice as many items as a single tilt-tray system with a similar tray pitch.

The Ideal Sorter for Small Items…

The Crisplant Compact Sorter has been specifically developed for the sorting of small items, i.e. products weighing a maximum of 5 kg with a maximum square size of 300x400 mm.

The cross-belt design ensures gentle handling of items. The sorter is well suited to handle fragile and delicate items and items with high or low surface friction.

At the same time, the Crisplant Compact Sorter has a high throughput capacity. It can sort up to 16,000 items per hour utilizing a pitch of 0.32 m.

Flexible Configurations, Minimum Space Requirement

One of the great advantages of the Crisplant Compact Sorter is its many flexible configurations. It is extremely compact with small outer dimensions. The horizontal model of the Crisplant Compact Sorter has a curve radius of 2000 mm or 3000 mm.

The Crisplant Compact Sorter requires a minimum footprint. It can be set up and installed within a few square metres and adapted to buildings and spaces with the most complex layouts. This is accomplished by the new sorter's unique transport configuration of conveying items horizontally, vertically, or over and under. In addition, these flexible configurations can be floor, ceiling or wall mounted.

The Crisplant Compact Sorter is adaptable to meet the specific requirements of individual customers. Items can be inducted onto the sorter from either above or from the side. Once inducted onto a cell, products can be discharged to either side into sacks, chutes, totes or horizontal conveyors.
