COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

Crisplant Inc. is the worldwide leader in the supply of sophisticated sortation systems to the mail order, retail, package handling, airlines, and other industries.

Responsible for planning and execution of all activities related to the commissioning and startup of Crisplant systems at job site. Fully test and commission systems per established procedures and training. Establish and conduct effective communication with customers on site representatives and Crisplant management. Lead the training of customers operating personnel and field maintenance crews. May serve as back-up to Field Service Engineers.

• Positions require engineering degree, military training or technical school or electrical/wiring mechanical assembly experience.
• Strong leadership skills required.
• Only people serious about traveling 90 percent of the time and interested in being part of the Crisplant team should apply.
• No need to relocate.

SALES ENGINEER

Responsible for selling Crisplant's products and services at profitable prices and service customer accounts. Maintain present customers and markets by providing them with service in connection with the sale and installation of Crisplant equipment. Develop new customers with each assigned market and make personal calls on prospects. Prepare and present to customer, comprehensive and accurate proposals. Work closely with project management and applications engineering.

• Minimum of 5 years experience, preferably in the material handling industry, with emphasis on system sales, engineering, and/or project management, of which a minimum of 1 year has been sales to end users.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is desired but not required.
• Must possess strong communication and organizational abilities.

PROJECT MANAGER

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of project management, project planning, design, production, cost analysis and follow-up experience in medium to large scale construction projects preferred.

• Travel required.
• BSME, BSEE, or equivalent experience required.

ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER

Design and specify electrical controls and power distribution systems. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding initiative and engineering skills. Specify controls specifications, functional descriptions, and requirements to software engineering companies.

• Systems integration and project leadership skills a plus.
• Some travel required.
• BSEE or equivalent experience required.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in C++ on NT environment. Must have BSCS or BSEE. Programming with TCP/IP, Graphical User Interfaces, and database (minimal) preferred.Ê Familiar with NT services.

• Java programming a plus.
• Occasional travel required.
• Must have excellent communications skills for customer interface.

From Ronald Reagan Airport (Washington National-DCA) Depart DCA and take the George Washington Parkway North to the Washington Capitol Beltway (Route 495). Take 495 North, cross over the Potomac River. Go approximately 3 miles and bear left onto Route 270 North. Once on Route 270, it is approximately 25 miles to Frederick. You'll pass through Rockville, Gaithersburg, and Germantown. Frederick is the next city. Take the first Frederick exit, Exit 31A (Route 85/Market Street). Stay in the right lane and make a right at the first stop light into the FSK Mall. Get into and stay in the left hand lane and travel around the left-hand side of the Mall. You will pass Pargo's, Olive Garden, and Lone Star. Continue straight at the stop sign into the 270 Technology Park. Turn left onto New Technology Way (next left after new Horizon Way). Crisplant is the last building on the right.

From Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) From the airport, take Route 195 West to Route I-95 South toward Washington DC. Exit onto Route 100 West toward Columbia/Ellicott City. Follow Route 100 West and exit onto Route 29 North to Columbia/Route 70. Follow for approximately 2 miles and get on Route 70 West toward Frederick. Follow Route 70 West to Route 85 South (Exit 54 Market Street) in Frederick. Upon exiting, make a right at the traffic light and immediately get into the left lane. Continue straight through the next traffic light onto Route 355 South. Go approximately 2 miles on Route 355; you will pass Home Depot, Target, and Wickes Lumber on the left. The next right turn is New Technology Way. Crisplant is the first building on the left.

From Dulles International Airport (IAD) Upon exiting the airport, take the first exit and get on Route 267 West toward Leesburg. Follow to the end and get on Route 15 North toward Frederick. After approximately 19 miles, Route 15 North will merge onto Route 240 East. Follow Route 240 to Route 70 East toward Baltimore. Exit onto Route 85 South (Exit 54 Market Street) in Frederick. Upon exiting, make a right at the traffic light and immediately get into the left lane. Continue straight through the next traffic light onto Route 355 South. Go approximately 2 miles on Route 355; you will pass Home Depot, Target, and Wickes Lumber on the left. The next right turn is New Technology Way. Crisplant is the first building on the left.
